My very first session recording audiobooks took place at 10.00am on Monday 29th January 2018 at The Custard Factory.
It was quite a surreal piece called 'The Chemist Shop' taken from a novella by Edward Harwell and featured a rollerskating girl with a taste for drugs from the local dealer, who seemed to make them himself.
As a starting point, it was very much in at the deep end in terms of the subject matter but the process itself very quickly fired my enthusiasm and was recorded using the microphone pictured above.
